Cleveland CG12 Lob Wedge

The Cleveland CG12 Lob Wedge offers cutting edge technology and the flexibility to be used by golfers of all abilities. The CG12 was first introduced in 2007 to replace the CG10/11 models and raises the bar in the design of wedges. Fantastic Classic Looks combined with it’s “Zip Groove” technology show that Cleveland are at the forefront of wedge design. Each groove within the Club face is consistently milled to maximum conforming dimensions to channel away as much debris from the Club face as possible when striking the ball – the cleaner the contact, the more spin and shot control you develop. The absolute integrity of the Grooves is maintained by the use of a proprietary coating for protection during the face sandblasting process. So what will the CG12 Lob Wedge do for you, well the “soft feel” set up of the wedges will produce excellent consistent results around the green and certainly help improve touch in this critical area.

The loft options for the Lob Wedge are 58°, 60°and 64°. Bounce angles are from low, standard or high for the 58°and 60°and are in both R/H and L/H options. The 64 degree set up comes in with a standard bounce of 10° but is only available in a R/H version. Swing weight comes in at D5. Finish is in either Black Pearl or Chrome.

Our View: A Classic looking wedge, that consolidates the fact that Cleveland lead the way in wedge development. Cleveland took it to another level with the “Zip Grooves” technology and is a big favourite for the amateur/weekly golfer. Choose a loft and bounce level to suit your abilities and you won’t be disappointed.
